Neither has anybody asked her to "pretend play" serving water nor has anyone asked her to "real" serve water.

She chose to do. Both, Then and Now.

Children just learn by playing and exploring. They are eager to learn. They are eager to do various things.

Let them be. Let them play. Let them learn. With as little interruption from an adult as possible.
